SaskGalleries — or the Saskatchewan Professional Art Galleries Association — is the not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting, developing and encouraging the growth of Saskatchewan professional art galleries who exhibit and sell original works of art.
Incorporated in 2000, we represent and support established and up-and-coming commercial art galleries and businesses in Saskatchewan that follow ethical standards and professional practices when selling art and representing artists. When you purchase art from a SaskGalleries member, you know that the artist is paid fairly, the owner is knowledgeable about the art they sell, and the art is priced according to professional standards

Art Now, the only show of its kind on the prairies, provides local, national, and international artists and galleries with opportunities to gain exposure at a highly professional venue. The show features an opening night reception, panels, artist talks, family programming, and more. Exhibitor booths are open to all commercial galleries committed to showcasing the work of established and emerging artists and artisans from across Canada.
Art Now's mandate is to provide an accessible and comfortable fine art experience showcasing Saskatchewan's commercial galleries and the quality of Saskatchewan art, and to provide education and promote Saskatchewan's vibrant fine art industry. Our show offers free admission to all attendees and is family-friendly because we believe fine art is not just for the seasoned collector, but for everyone.
Our objectives for Art Now are to showcase the quality and diversity of fine art in Saskatchewan and Canada, engage the community by providing exceptional art experiences and cultural opportunities, provide exposure and sales opportunities for participating galleries, and to establish and maintain partnerships with supporters, organizations, and corporations.
Like all art fairs, in 2020 and 2021 our show was altered by COVID-19 restrictions and we held Art Now online and on location in our member galleries. In 2022, we were ecstatic to return to our four-day in-person format in Saskatoon with the addition of a week long online show. We returned to Regina, Saskatchewan in September 2023 for our eighth edition of the fair and are planning the ninth edition back in Saskatoon in 2024. For more information, contact SaskGalleries at info@saskgalleries.ca.
SaskGalleries is grateful to Art Now’s major supporter, Creative Saskatchewan.

Visit Gibson Fine Art to view the collection of art produced during my residency in Calgary the month of June at the Residency Inn, Downtown Calgary.
Live music, themed cocktails, delicious bites, creative conversation and a beautiful environment…what more could a girl ask for?
Join me on June 29 to say bid a fond farewell to Downtown Calgary and close out my time at the Artist In Residence Inn program. I would love to share with you the new collection I have been building during my stay in Calgary and talk about the creative process over a cocktail.
Join us for another fabulous curated experience with Michaela Hoppe -- watch and listen as she shares her experience as an artist best known and appreciated for her sprawling landscapes, bursting skies, hauntingly beautiful boreal forests, and glassine-like lakes.
Michaela joins us from Saskatchewan as a participant in "The Artists Inn Residence Inn Program", an initiative by the Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Downtown/Beltline District designed to celebrate and support Canadian arts and culture in its many forms. One visual artist and one performing artist are invited to live full-time in our suites, and the visual artist receives a dedicated gallery and workspace
For the entire month of June, I will be calling the Residence Inn my home and I eat, breathe, live Calgary and create a collection of work that will (hopefully) capture what it’s like to visit this beautiful Canadian city! I’m thinking….city lights, mountain hikes, and cows chilling out in pastures.
Come and visit if you are in the area! Follow along on Instagram to find out when I will be live painting or hosting art talks!
